How do I get to Umnya Desert Camp?

The camp is located near Erg Chegaga, accessed via M'Hamid El Ghizlane. We organize private transfers from Marrakech, Ouarzazate, Zagora, and Fez. Once in M'Hamid, our 4x4 will take you through the dunes to the camp (about 1 hour). Full details on our Transport page.

When is the best time to visit?

October to April offers the most pleasant weather: warm sunny days (18–28°C) and cool starry nights. Summer (May–September) brings hot days but mild magical evenings, preferred by photographers and solitude-seekers.

What is included in my stay?

All meals, mint tea & coffee, welcome drink, evening Berber music, sunset camel ride, sandboarding, stargazing, and 4x4 transfer M'Hamid ↔ camp. Specific retreats include additional curated experiences.

Is WiFi available?

Yes, limited WiFi is available in the main lounge area. We encourage guests to embrace the digital silence as part of the experience, but you'll always be able to stay in touch when needed.

Are there hot showers and toilets?

Private suite tents have private en-suite bathrooms with hot showers and flush toilets. Standard tents share clean shared bathroom facilities.

Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Absolutely. We happily prepare vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and most other dietary needs with advance notice. Please tell us when booking.

Can I book a private camp for my group?

Yes, we offer private camp experiences for groups, retreats, weddings, and corporate events. Contact us with your dates and vision.

How does payment work?

After you send your inquiry, we reply within 24 hours with a personalised proposal. Once you approve it, we confirm the reservation and share payment instructions directly. Bank transfer, credit card, and on-arrival options are all available.

What should I pack?
