Event FAQ
How many guests can the camp accommodate for events?
Umnya Desert Camp comfortably accommodates up to 20 guests for overnight stays (8 luxury tents). For ceremonies and celebrations without overnight stays, weddings, cocktail dinners, photoshoots, we can host up to 50 guests with temporary infrastructure.
How far in advance should we book?
For weddings and large celebrations: 6 to 12 months in advance to allow for full coordination. For corporate retreats: 2 to 4 months. For photoshoots and smaller events: 4 to 6 weeks with flexibility. December to March books out fastest.
Can we bring outside vendors (photographers, musicians, florists)?
Yes, your own photographer, videographer, stylist or event planner are welcome. We provide full hospitality and logistics support for external vendors, including accommodation and meals. Drone permits must be coordinated in advance.
What is the nearest airport and how do guests arrive?
Marrakech (RAK) is the main gateway: 1h40 by helicopter (recommended) or 4.5 to 5 hours by private 4x4. Ouarzazate (OZZ) is closer by road. We coordinate all arrivals and provide a dedicated transfer service from M'Hamid.
